These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Helio SEO ("the Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into them on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Helio SEO plans, writes and publishes search-optimised articles for your website. That includes scanning your public website, building a content plan, writing articles with the help of AI models, generating branded share images, and delivering finished articles to your site through the connection you choose (for example WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Ghost, a webhook, or a blog we host on your domain).
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and capable of forming a binding contract. You must own, or be authorised to publish to, every website you connect.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. New accounts start with a short free trial which requires a payment card; you can cancel during the trial and pay nothing. Optional extras (additional sites, white-label) are added to the same subscription, prorated. Prices are shown, and your subscription runs, in the currency presented at checkout. Fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing on renewal with reasonable notice.
Articles are drafted for your approval unless you switch on automatic publishing. Either way, content published to your website is published under your name and you are responsible for reviewing its accuracy and suitability for your audience. Once delivered, you own the articles written for your account and may keep them if you leave.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: using it unlawfully; connecting websites you are not authorised to publish to; attempting to breach security or access data that is not yours; reverse engineering the Service except as permitted by law; or using it to publish unlawful, deceptive or harmful content. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.
Search engine optimisation takes time and no outcome is guaranteed. We do not promise rankings, traffic levels or timescales; anyone who does is guessing. We build content honestly and submit it to search engines properly, and we show you real data as it accumulates.
We and our licensors own all rights in the Service itself, including the software and branding. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.
We aim to keep the Service available and to answer support email promptly. We may carry out maintenance and will use reasonable efforts to minimise disruption.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. The Service assists with content and publishing but does not replace your own judgement about what appears on your website.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in that period.
You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. On termination your right to use the Service ends; articles already published to your own website remain yours.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
